The latter half of 2008:

MDRF: Had a most excellent time, got officially pinned into the M'Cracks, plus had just a flat-out lovely drive home with my husband.

KCRF: Didn't happen, alas.  While I did go to KS, it was at the end of Oct., shortly after faire had ended.  Maybe next year!

CRF: That just might have been the best single day I've spent at a faire ever.  Windy, yes, but beautiful weather, wonderful friends, couldn't ask for much more.

And while not a faire, it's faire-related (and I'm stalling on folding laundry *koff*) so I'll also include M'Crackmas because, well, it was definitely an event!  MUCH fun!  Gotta do that again next year if I can swing the longer drive.

And for 2009?

VARF: Auditions start this weekend.  Not only did they not kick me off of the cast last year, I'm now an assistant guilde manager, backstopping a guy who I think has some good visions to bring our part of things into better focus.

NCRF: Doesn't look like it will happen this year.  I've got friends getting married on one weekend and VARF rehearsal on the other.  

MDRF: I'm planning on it!

KCRF: Would be fun to go but it will just depend on schedules and life and, well, everything.

CRF: Fingers crossed! 

Damn.  Out of nattering.  Gotta go fold laundry after all...

Yeah. I don't update much here.  'S okay, you're actually living a much happier, productive life because of this, I'm sure.

So 2008 faire visits so far:

NCRF: Went with a friend I haven't seen in years, loved catching up with her, watching her son geek out over everything with a point on it, etc.

VARF:  They must've been desperate (or are still in the 'we'll take anyone who shows up!') stage because I was indeed on cast this spring.  LOVED it.  Well, most of it, but that's only to be expected. I didn't beat anyone over the head with a small tree but it was a close call a time or six.  I also became a M'Crack pet.  Can't beging to say how much I enjoyed their company at Hubbas that night.  Got signatures?

MDRF:  Will be there this Saturday for the Labor Day weekend invasion.  Ditto for the pub the night prior.  Will likely be my only trip to MDRF this year due to my coaching duties.

KCRF: Don't know if I'll be able to go this year due to aforementioned coaching/club duties.  So much for the 'three-person M'Crack mini-invasion' thought, alas.

CRF: Definitely planning on going, possibly/probably Invasion weekend again.

Awright. That should cover me post-wise until 2009 or so, heh......
